This is from a year ago. Even with as much work as two kids are, I really love seeing them love each other and play together.

Do you like having two of different sexes? I have a girl and am now having a boy. I was a little bummed because I wanted to have two girls so they'd be close. What do you think? Not to mention that I'm a little worried about the whole boy thing. Girl stuff seems to come more naturally to me.
I do like having one of each. I can understand you wanting two girls, but I think that one of each helps avoid a lot of competition as they get older. Not always, but if they feel like they are more at liberty to do their own things then they hopefully won't feel so competitive for mom & dad's attention. Honestly, I was hoping for a boy because then I'd have one of each. I figure if you have one of each, then any other kids are just "bonuses" because you have the bases covered. :o)
Noodle does really want a baby sister someday, though. I think that's pretty common, too. But she also wants an older brother, which obviously isn't going to happen.
