like i needed...

another way to spend time online. I finally signed up for Facebook over the weekend, and even though I have to be judicious in my time spent there, I'm glad to have found it. I've already found a few long lost friends. What could be neater than that. I didn't think I'd care for it all that much, but I like the idea of millions of people's lives intersecting at different points in time to create a huge web of interconnectedness. Kinda cool what technology can do.

Weird...I did the same thing this weekend in order to find an old friend form England. Facebook does suck you in. Make me your friend, k?

I've been toying with the idea. I already have a myspace account, but several people I know only have facebook. The only thing that's stopping me from getting facebook too is the inordinate amount of time I already waste online. If I cave I'll look you up.

ditto back at ya, blue! :o)

Kirsten, done!

I hear ya, Minnow. I do like that you can quickly scan for "updates" on your friends pages. So far I'm doing an okay job of limiting my time. And I'm trying to limit my blog reading to about three times per week, when I catch up on all my favorite blogs. :o) I figure there are worse time wasting habits...I could be smoking or drinking, right? Blogging and facebook are much cheaper and less destructive!
