This morning I ironed three shirts. Granted, they were Spud's shirts so they were small, but still, it's a rare event around here when I iron anything.
I rarely iron. I'd rather sprinkle some water on a shirt and throw it in the dryer for a few minutes than iron. It might not be environmentally conscious of me, but what can I say? I'm lazy.
Minnow, I do that with David's shirts when necessary. Our dryer also has a "wrinkle guard" setting, which is actually pretty good. It tosses the clothes around periodically after they've dried so they don't settle into a wrinkly pile. Plus, both our washer & dryer are high efficiency, so I figure it's probably about equal to heating up the iron.
Well Mindy, knowing me for as many years as you have I will give you one guess as to whether or not I am an ironer...yup, you guessed it--I iron EVERYTHING!! It is a sickness. Shamefully there a few sets of my PJs that even fall into the obsession. Ahhhh, the joys of OCD. I'm not as bad as my mom though, she irons her sheets!
