We've been having a lot less fighting around here lately. I attribute it largely to the new "consequence" I've imposed -- they each get to pull 10 weeds every time they fight.
andrea said it first, but i have to say it to. i ♥ this idea! and since our yard is being considered as the premier site for the new dandylion wine factory, this could really help prevent us from all becoming alcoholics! ♥
Great idea! I came up with making my kids wash both sides of a window together (and hopefully making funny faces), but they are really bad at getting the windows clean. They usually get the glass just wet enough to smear the dust around into swirls of mud that stays on the window. But weeding! Brilliant! I know they know what are weeds and what aren't. And I have plenty that are!
Between you and Mary I've got some nice alternatives to the "naughty step." It's losing its effectiveness plus doesn't help me out any. May have to implement this!
