what the world needs...

is more exuberant dancing.

Don't you agree?

I have to confess to getting a wee bit choked up watching this. I'm blaming it on hormones.

What a neat video! Makes you remember that no matter what language you speak, there are still mediums that every person can use to communicate.

I must be in a pessimistic mood because the two thoughts that kept going through my mind were, "I'll bet Al Gore doesn't like this guy's carbon footprint" and "This guy must be an heir to have all the time and money to travel like this." Maybe I'm just jealous.

I went to this guy's--Matt's--homepage and learned that he saved up from his job creating video games to start his travels, and then discovered that except for the airfare, which I think is now covered by a sponsor, traveling really isn't more expensive than living in one place. So I guess he's the world's best-known homeless person; but then, really the whole world is his home. Kind of fun. Look what I sacrificed to have a family. :-)

There's a spoof video about what this guy's girlfriend has been up to while he's dancing his way around the world. It's not the most wholesome thing in the world, but it made me laugh.

Supposedly researchers have found that dancing, no matter how silly it looks, can prevent the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. Something to think about.

Also, I'm not sure the choked up thing is entirely hormonal. I did too. And there's no way I'm pregnant.

Hi Min! **waving madly** I'm so glad you shared this video. I too got choked up a bit watching it, and yes I too am hormonal ... as in, running OUT of them, and the ones I have left are apparently evil, and make me cry at sad AND happy things. A lot.

Well hormones aside, It made me smile. I didn't cry, because I was checking my blog, email etc. in a public place, but it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that there are people just like us all over the world. It's nice seeing something that unites all of gods people together, even if it is only for a moment.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it, too. Mary, that's pretty cool. I'm glad he's not destroying those lush green places with a giant carbon footprint!

And I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who gets emotional over seemingly random things!
